I have seen change!
I’m very proud to have graduated from this school (Class of 08' "The Elites") Woo-Woo! I'm currently attending Cal State LA majoring in Criminal Justice, but I still keep that Falcon Pride. (CSULA ‘s mascot is a Golden Eagle.)
When I moved from Jefferson H.S. to Santee I was scared at first to leave my old high school but as I set foot on Santee's campus, I said to myself, “This is it, this is my High School. I’m gonna graduate.” The SLC's in this school just are awesome. They are very well laid out to guide you to what you want to be; they are also very helpful guiding students to reach their high school requirements. What I'm really proud of about this school is just the fact the teachers are there to help you trough your problems, I'm very thankful to the have the teachers I had while attending Santee. I grew an ambition inside of me to succeed in life and become someone. Now my goal is to come back and help-out my community and not just forget about it.
What I noticed as I as a Santee student is that you change, your mentality changes. While you look around at your community you see you live in a low-income community and your main goal is to strive, become someone and improve this community.
My goal is almost reached, and I will come back! Once a Falcon - always a Falcon!!! Special thanks to these teachers: Mr. Trebor, Mr. Lara, Mr. Travis, Ms. Bispo, Ms. Xue, Mr. Caballero, Mr. Melgar, Mr. Bosley, Mr. Schilp. OMG! Take a look at that list. Top of the line teachers!!! There are many more and I thank you very much for the mentoring you gave me.
