SAT Reasoning and Subject Test Dates

MARCH 14TH- REGISTER BY FEB. 13TH

MAY 2ND- REGISTER BY APR. 6TH

JUNE 6TH- REGISTER BY MAY 8TH

The last month to test for students who want to attend a 4-year college is December (except for CSU LA and possibly CSU DH, which will accept January SAT scores)!

Tips and Reminders

Remember to send your test scores to your favorite colleges!  A lot of students forget to do this until after their exam, which costs them money.  For the SAT, CSU has a special code that sends scores to all 23 CSU campuses. The code is 3594.

You can take the SAT Reasoning OR Subject Test on any SAT test date, but you cannot take them both on the same dayThis means that potential UC students will probably have 2 SAT dates in the fall of their senior year.  You can take up to 3 Subject tests on the same day.

You can take the SAT Subject test in Spanish to satisfy your A-G foreign language requirement.

If you want to attend a UC, you must take at least 2 SAT Subject Tests from different subject areas.  If you like math, you must take the Level 2 math test.  It is recommended that you take 3 Subject tests in the same day, and then the UC's will use your top 2 scores.
