I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Barnard College, which is the sister school to Columbia University. In search of warm weather (and no snow), I attended the University of Southern California and received a MSEd. in Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology. While attending USC, I also began to teach at Santee. For the past seven years at Santee I have taught all grades in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra II, Math Tutorial Lab and Precalculus. In addition to teaching I have sponsored several clubs including the African American Harmony Alliance and Santee's Golden Girls (dance team).
